An important part of maintaining a coin and banknote collection, is
managing it wisely. The Currency Vault™ is the perfect tool to do just
that. Whether you want to simply maintain an inventory of all of
your coins, or keep an accurate manifest for your insurance company, or
just have a complete catalog of Canadian coinage and banknotes, then the
Currency Vault™ is right for you. The Currency Vault™ is a valuable tool
for beginning collectors or seasoned numismatists. To begin with, you have
the entire Canadian catalog of banknotes, decimal coinage, numismatic
coins, bullion AND sets! But that isn’t all. Using the various wizards that are
included in the program, you can add new items to the catalog. And you
aren’t limited by country, either. You can add coins and banknotes from
colonial America, Britain, Australia, the old Soviet Union, or any other
country; quickly and easily into the catalog. You can also edit all of the
trending information for a given catalog item as well. So if the trends
change, you can quickly update each coin or banknote!

But a catalog on its own isn’t enough.
You want to maintain your collection! Adding coins, banknotes,
bullion or sets to your collection is as simple as a few clicks. Just by
following the steps of the Coin Wizard you can add a coin
to your collection, keeping track of large amounts of information.
You can enter the purchase price, purchase date, the store/dealer you purchased the
coin from, any third-party certifications, and as many pictures as you want
(in all of the popular image formats)! The Currency Vault™ also
keeps tracks of the total value of your collection, so you can have an up-to-the-minute
summary of your collection. But you are not limited to just coins; you can
also manage banknotes, bullion, and sets the same way.
Trends
Up to date trending
information for the most important grades is supplied for each coin,
banknote, bullion or set. You can add more grades / trends as you see fit,
or change the values as updated trends occur. And as you make changes, the
value of your collection will also be reflected. |

Auction
Management
After winning an Ebay auction, you can
easily import the auction information directly into your collection with a
single click; including pictures and purchase price!

updateable. Through simple left and right click options, the entire

Collection
View
This section shows your collection
in the same easy-to-navigate system. This screen shot displays
a sample collection of Canadian 50 cent pieces. As you can see
there is a lot of information you can keep track of; for your coin, bullion or
banknote purchase. For example, you can keep track of the
following:
- The place you acquired the
item from
- The grade
- Any certifications the coin
may have
- Purchase date
- Purchase Price
- As many pictures as you want,
and much more!

Grading Guide
The Grading
Guide allows you to compare your coin to high quality images of
professinally graded coins (pictures are property of . When you have selcted the grade that matches your
coin, this grade will then be assigned to your coin.

Picture
Viewer
This area lets you view the large
view of any pictures attached to a coin or banknote. You can
designate if the picture is the obverse, reverse or other, and add your
own notes.
You can attach a picture by doing
a screen capture, pasting from the clipboard, or just loading the file
from your hard drive.
Also you can crop, rotate or
resize the picture as you see fit.

Process
Auction
If you have
ever won an eBay auction, you will want to record that information.
In the Currency Vault™, after you have won an auction,
you can import all of the important auction information right into your
collection, including the auction
pictures!

 | Customized
Reports
You have the choice of three basic reports that a very
customizable so you can display or print only the information you
want. In the screen shot, a customized inventory list was created,
searching for only Canadian coins in a collection that have a
mintmark. These lists can be supplied to your insurance company as
proof of your collection.
The types of reports you can print/view

Inventory Report |
A listing of your collection that can be
customized as you see fit. You can even include up to 2
pictures. The report will show the current catalog value, the
grade, and certification information as well. |
| Detailed Inventory Report |
A detailed listing of the coins, banknote, bullion and sets in
your collection. You can show up to 4 pictures, and all of the other item information as well |
| Want List |
A simple listing of the coins or banknotes in
your want list. Great for taking to the next coin
show! |
| Need List |
A listing of all of the coins and banknotes
that are in the catalog that you do not
own. |
| Tags |
Create 2x2 labels for your plastic coin holders. Display the country flag, plus grade and value. |
You can narrow down your searches for these reports,
by theme, country, year, mintmark, and much, much

Update Trends
Updating Trends is simple, and
can be done in 2 different places
- Update the trends directly
into the specific coin or banknote. You can select any grade, and
enter in the price. For copper based coins, you can also designate
a secondary colour grading, as shown in the sample.
- Update the trends in the trend
editor. This tool is great if you have to change many coins or
banknotes at the same time.
